It has been 22 years since the 9/11 attacks occurred and the United States is still operating under a state of emergency. That’s not hyperbole or metaphor, no, the U.S. Government is still under a declared state of emergency stemming from the tragedy of September 11, 2001. And just one month ago, U.S. President Joe Biden decided to extend that state of emergency.

Yes, mere days before the 22nd anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the message came down from up on high that President Joe “decided” that one more year of 9/11 emergency was necessary. The job, apparently, still wasn’t finished… twenty-two years later.
