With each passing day winter is almost upon us here in the United States of America. Normally this means is time to hang the annual holiday decorations, warm the chest nuts on the open fire, and break out the winter coats and snow shovels from their closet dormancy…

This year, however, thanks to an endless war in Ukraine, military industrial greed and war hawk posturing by Russia, NATO, and the United States we can now add building a bomb shelter to our annual winter to do lists. Not since the heady Cold War days of the 1960’s have we seen this level of nuclear winter anxiety and super power bomb bragging.
