In what has to be considered a rare win against the CIA, a lawsuit that was brought forward by a quartet of lawyers and journalists involved with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, was allowed to advance forward in U.S. Federal Courts recently. Shocking, I know. Apologies for not asking if you were sitting down first.

The suit alleges that the CIA and it’s former Director Mike Pompeo, as well as the Spanish security firm Undercover Global and its former chief David Morales Guillen violated the U.S. Constitution’s 4th Amendment right against unreasonable searches and seizures while the plaintiffs were meeting with Julian Assange back when he was living under political asylum at the Ecuadorian Embassy in the UK.
