This week WNBA star Brittney Griner was finally released from a Russian prison thanks to some wheeling and dealing by U.S. President Joe Biden and his Administration. Staring down a 9 year stretch in a Russian prison over the apparently heinous crime of traveling with Cannabis Oil, Griner was finally granted her freedom and a plane ride home in exchange for notorious Russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout. And, like every major news story of the day, it didn’t take but three seconds to turn this international prisoner exchange into a domestic political controversy between Democrips and Rebloodlicans.

It appears that many Republicans along with other Biden Administration critics are up in arms over the fact that Viktor Bout, affectionately called the Merchant of Death, is now free thanks to this exchange. Scores of high profile Republican leaders and party loyalists took to social media and cable news to air their complaints…
