Welcome to the Independent Streak Podcast, only on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit. Here we showcase candidates, activists, and influencers who are fighting to bring something new, fresh, and game changing to the worlds of politics and pop culture.
On this episode former MN Gov. Jesse Ventura welcomes the current Gov. of Minnesota, Tim Walz.
During his term Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has faced everything from the tragic and barbaric murder of George Floyd and the protests and public unrest that followed, to the health and economic crisis caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. Through it all he has maintained that he has tried to make the best decisions he could for the people of the state of Minnesota. While some of his decisions over the last four years have been rightfully challenged and others wrongfully criticized, Walz has remained steadfast in his belief that he is, ultimately, always trying to do what’s right for the people of Minnesota.
Now, Gov. Walz finds himself in a very contentious campaign trail battle for re-election. Recently, his Republican opponent, Dr. Scott Jensen, received the almighty endorsement from up on high by former President Donald Trump.
This, along with a host of other topics including mask mandates, 2nd Amendment Rights, the legalization of Cannabis, the January 6th insurrection and Gov. Ventura’s own endorsement of the Walz campaign were discussed when the two Governors sat down for this fascinating and informative edition of the Independent Streak Podcast.
