Jesse, I generally agree with what you stand for. Gun control is where we part ways. I speculate that generally suicidal people with guns are veterans. You really think it would be smart to have a best friend or family member take their suicidal friend/family member to court and disarm them? What's stopping them from driving their car into a tree? Are you going to confiscate their belts and sheets too? Maybe just putting them in cushiony solitary confinement cell would save their live. Where's the common sense in that?
Also, the science is pretty clear that covid particles are small enough to travel through most materials that people are using as "masks." It was clearly a political move at the highest levels of government with not much science involved.
