#SalaryCapsForPublicCEOs

couldn't agree more. in the 60's, the c-suite earned roughly 22:1 (to labor, actually creating the products)

today, its in excess of 500:1

capitalism IS crony capitalism. its the inevitable end game of capitalism

capitalism is Corporatism, again, the inevitable end state.

#HostLife the people are "hosts" (food - rent slaves) for the inbred 1% parasites (leeches - rent collectors)

With a great deal of noise and made-4-tv passion, the neoliberal puppets pimped their "freedom" and "liberty" message, to the gathered "hosts" (food for the inbred parasites), and all the Opus Dei sheep, clapped excitedly for their own slaughter~

Free Market:

To the classical economists, an economy free of land rent, usurious banking practices and monopolies in private hands. But as finance capitalism has superseded industrial capitalism, it has inverted “free market” rhetoric to mean a market free FOR rent extractors to obtain land rent, natural resource rent, monopoly rent and financial gains “free” of government taxation or regulation. This INVERTED re-definition depicts a free market as one free for the financial and propertied classes to subject the economy to a network of extractive tollbooth fees. Such a “free market” has become a doublethink term for the path to neo-feudalism, financialization and kindred rentier policies. (See Free Lunch, Kleptocrats and Road to Serfdom.)

Good to see you working for the Greens or any other left anti-war party Jesse, we need someone, though, who can take the Green Party to a whole new level and re organize it while pulling other splinter parties together. How can that happen? Green Party had started to go astray and lose focus on its priorities and alienated a lot of people. We need to not succumb to this Synthetic Left Caleb Maupin often talks about and exposes as fake. Focus should be on CLASS and stopping the wars, proxy or otherwise, and the coups. American Empire is falling into chaos and irrational anger. I am tired of the faux issues and pettiness.

The duopoly can not longer hide the deep abuse and harm being done to us by their neo-liberal agenda and endless wars. Not only do we have rampart censorship, but they also control the voting process making opposition almost impossible. To counter this demands unity among independents, whether Libertarian, Green or any party in between. We simply must unite on those very important issues -fair ballot access with supervised monitored voting with verifiable results and ranked choice voting, reducing military spending by 50% or more, stopping the insane Ukraine proxy war, a graduated tax system similar to what Roosevelt did (90% or so top rate) that redistributes wealth, health care and programs designed to help people not the just the elites - where we can find agreement. We have the numbers., they have the money but a united mass movement can challenge these thieves as that is what they are.

The citizens of Nevada is pushing for ranked choice voting and we get a chance to have our say at the ballot box bit both parties are working hard to destroy it and make sure it doesn’t get on the ballot.

Exactly, it is a battle every step of the way. Who controls the voting controls the results, elections must be monitored, supervised and results verified and ranked choice is a huge improvement over the duopoly winner takes all. But know we have the numbers and a united mass movement will shift the balance. Best of luck !!

WE NEED MATTHEW HOH IN THE WHITE HOUSE IN 2026!

It is time for a 3rd party and he would be the perfect first 3rd party president.

Thanks, Jesse, for letting people know about him. Go Matthew!!

I agree with Matthew that the country seems to be in the process of a complete collapse. He seems to be a decent person but thats not enough. I dont think a hero is going to be enough. I dont want to put people off with undue cheer and optimism, but people need to face facts. The collapse is not curable. It is not just a matter of implementing sweeping common sense reforms, smart equitable policies, like the income cap Jesse suggests, and single payer health care, etc. Such would help but it is beside the point.

Any real change demands a mass movement with highly motivated leadership, clear goals and determination. Think the late 60's protests. This can only happen when enough of the workers in this country clearly understand that their lives are literally being trashed to serve the owner class, elites, corporations and the extreme wealthy. We have the numbers, but are not unified. It is a process, but our lives are not going to get better until this system is trashed and replaced with a government centered on people, not corporations.

The outlook is bleak; I agree.

But if we don't at least try to do the best that we can no matter how likely to fail, then our failure becomes certain and the bleak becomes inevitable.

Matthew will find that he can do zero assuming he gets in Congress, of course he'll join the Independent Caucus and then what? Vote for the annual Defense appropriations bill?
