Why aren't there more Jesse Ventura s in the world? The Founding Fathers had debates because people tried to find the right answer. Gov. Ventura thinks. Our current society just rubber stamps biases, slings mud, and doesn't ever resolve the problems. Keep making waves Gov.

So I am looking forward to hearing what Jesse says.. I used to watch his shows before they were unceremoniously cancelled in the "in theory" pre Cancel culture era. Jesse was cancelled before it was Kool. OH an the title on the main blog.. unless you did it on purpose says QUITE not QUIT but I never want to guess or edit other people's personal blog thoughts.. Have a great weekend.

thanks: yes I am a Christian and that is the name of my blog which I have had for years. Science for the sycophants is a religion and a form of a cult and self worship of man's intellect over our Creator's plan.

Most religions are not inherently dangerous, but all are sometimes used to manipulate followers to dangerous actions. Unfortunately, many followers of political religions are not able to detect manipulation.

Many unknowns are not fiction. Some people have better information than others, and wise observers should hear them out. But odd beliefs are never dangerous. Odd actions often are. I worry more about those professing faith in politicians than more traditional religions. Actions are often dangerous. Beliefs never are.

The current problems with random shootings aren't driven by traditional religions, but certainly are acting on bad belief systems. Successful societies agree on socially acceptable belief systems, and shun those who diverge. Our failures are driven by the fetish of multiculturism, professing that all beliefs are valid and sacrosanct. The universe doesn't work that way. Our problems are all driven by failure to recognize that. Entropy is a fundamental law of the universe, and requires constant maintenance to overcome. We've chosen to enshrine entropy. Chaos is the inevitable result.

I do not know why a fake SEAL, no Ventura was never a SEAL. I do not know why his emails are ending up in my inbox but it just gives me a new opportunity to point out what a fraud this guys is. He claims he went to Mexico because the US Gov. wanted to kill him. I have seen his house, the 'gate' to the gated community and the beach. Trust me 'jesse' if the US Gov. wanted you bagged and tagged you would have been. You are a lair and a fruad. Also you were never in Vietnam. The worst of it is you were UDT which is and at the time the very elite but you had to pull stolen valor.

FAAFO, please take the same opportunity that you took to write this comment, and ignore the content if it agitates you.

You’re not the first person to make erroneous claims out of vitriolic passion towards Jesse... and you won’t be the last. None of the things you are saying in this comment even relate to this podcast audio... So, that means that’s your point-of-view, and your constant comment, no matter what is said or done?

Lastly, I want to peacefully and respectfully ask that you open your mind. Everyone can learn something new from anyone, even from our enemies.

I happen to be a fan of Jesse and Tyrel’s work. On the other hand, I will gladly sit down with a group of people on the opposite side of my independent spectrum and listen to what they have to say. If I disagree, then fair enough... if I agree... I learned that we have a new commonality I never knew we had... but most importantly, if I learn to change my opinion because they educated me on something I never knew... that’s the real win for me!!! Intellectual discourse will be the only way we resolve our polarization which happens to be the biggest issue we face in our country.

Shocked to find negative comments about a public figure on the Internet. I think Jesse is very swell, but even if I didn’t, I would be more interested in thoughtful critiques of his ideas that we can all learn from rather than ad hominem. There are people I follow that I know I would detest on a personal level, but they have really interesting ideas about things that I am interested in or care about, and you can certainly find interesting ideas in abundance listening to Jesse even if you don’t think you’d like him personally.

As pointed by Brandon Webb and others, you are simply mistaken or have some other axe to grind. And while dated, Brandon's piece is pretty clear. The only mistake made by Brandon is the nature of the case against Chris Kyle - which continues to be framed as Jesse attacking the "family" - not the estate and truly the insurance company. It was the appropriate place to sue since that is where the book revenues go and what insurance protects.

https://sofrep.com/news/truth-jesse-venturas-navy-seal-status/

Brandon also mistakenly believed that Jesse would lose the case - but that isn't true. The evidence in the case and the MANY MANY errors (lies) in Chris account of several stories he told have been documented and verified. This doesn't suggest he wasn't a great sniper or that he didn't attempt to serve his role with excellence... Perhaps he just got too caught up in his own story. That may never be answered.

That is really interesting: I did see that and I have always really wondered about Chris Kyle and I didn't know that Jesse Ventura attacked Chris Kyle's family. wow. that is interesting. and I still wonder what really happened to America's best sniper. I own the movie and watched it several times.

Matthew Moran's avatar

He didn't "attack" Chris Kyle's family. This is just a oft-repeated lie or misunderstanding of how the case (and all such cases) work. The estate (and ultimately the insurance company) was sued because the estate holds the book revenues - which the insurance indemnifies. The "he attacked Chris Kyle's family" lie was and is propaganda.

It allows some to overlook the many inaccuracies (untruths, lies) in the book. We all want to keep our heroes bronzed and polished but that shouldn't stop us from carefully analyzing claims.

FAAFO, I will avoid ad hominem attacks but I brlieve you to be misguided and mal-informed. You are backing the wrong person. If you only looked a bit deeper into Kyle's background and the financial backers of his autobiography... Neo-Cons are NOT your friends. They have done immeasurable damage to the nation and to our liberty as citizens. Their allegiances are to foreign, moneyed interests, and the acquisition of wealth for themselves, as was the case with Chris Kyle. For it was he who first slandered a fellow Navy DEVGRU member with false allegations against Jesse, and the jury found him liable for it. Kyle's death did not instantly exonerate him of slander and Jesse had every right to clear his name. There are plenty of SEAL fanboys around. The worst of them being Karl Rove, another misguided Texan and the very definition of a ChickenHawk. If there are any real SEALs reading this, it is time that a formal apology be issued to Jesse Ventura, for he has done nothing wrong. You may also take your misguided vitriol elsewhere, FAAFO.

Lock/cock and load is a peculiar quibble. Neither really applies to modern hardware. I'm offended by the lock part, especially in context of Joe's rant yesterday, and some congressional parrots, that gun ownership should only be allowed if encased in concrete at the bottom of a safe. That certainly defeats the purpose of defense, and the direction in the Constitution that keeping AND BEARING arms shall not be infringed. Ambitious dems are coming out of that rancid closet now and calling for abolition of the 2nd Amendment. That's extremely unlikely since it requires ratification by 2/3 of the states, and half of the states already have their own laws protecting Constitutional carry. The dems know that, so they're just desperate to gen up their quickly evaporating base to try to salvage something in November and 2024. But it only drives more people to recognize how vile and un-American they are.

I do hope Jesse will post further on gun rights, and his peculiar thought that the Constitution only applies in the home. He once swore to protect and defend the Constitution. Hopefully he hasn't lost that commitment.

As I have already said my piece on the abortion issue, here it is on the gun issue. The manufacturing of guns or ownership of guns is not the problem. The MENTALITY of the American people is the problem, especially the young adults. I am not speaking of mental illness. I am speaking of how America has ALLOWED children to do as they please, when they please, where they please without consequence. When these same children grow up, as they all do, they have no concept that the adult world does NOT operate that way; e.g. they run into no, don't, quit and stop (e.g. boundaries). They then throw a tantrum with ADULT toys, killing and maiming others as they do so. Not all children will be that way but there are many that are; the ones where all the talking, discipline, or punishment will not deter them. We have teachers that pick favorites and deliberately and without cause will exclude some kids. We have some law enforcement which will lie to make cases for the county/state. We have district attorneys that want people to plea to things they did not do by means of coersion for a lighter sentence. We have judges that ALLOW the d.a.'s to have total control in many of our courtrooms just so they can rubberstamp the will of the d.a. and get onto the next case(assembly line). They do not uphold justice on a consistant basis, always depends on WHO you are and WHO you know and how much money is in your pocket. None of those 3 things DEMAND justice, understanding or mercy. These same young adults then run into adult life which can be oppressive at times, something they are not accustomed to. The MENTALITY of these people will be "I will do what I want no matter what anyone says." Many will have grudges/grievances against others for something they did years before. They will plan and scheme; the weapon of choice is quite often the gun but they could easily use a knife, flamethrower, slingshot, crossbow or some other weapon. Many times parents will ask for help with these same children but are refused. So much for it takes a community to raise a child. Many times it because of the social status of the parents or that they do not have the money for these services (help is free; services are paid for). I think the 2nd amendment has been taken out of context by the republicans. Back when this was wrote, the United States did NOT have a huge military presence for protecting the population, so would enlist common folks to protect the homeland and their homes, e.g. aid the military. Does anyone think this applies today in the same manner it did then? I have no issues with people having a weapon for self protection, I do. But my perception is not that of a young adult. Self control, self discipline, responsibility, accountability, and consequences have eluded our young people for far too long. This is the result.

Bugging the Confessionals

DeusVult.org wants to bring back all Knight Templars to work together in today's world. The first will be protecting the confessionals from being bugged by the Government, Police, and Criminals in recording the confessions of Christians at Church and using them for nefarious purposes.

We, Knight Templar, are the only ones that can be trusted to do this and at a low weekly cost of about $100 per week per church. I hope many of you will join me in stopping this heinous act and safeguarding the confessionals.

Go to our website to help stop the bugging of the Confessionals. It is time for Knights Templars to act not just talk.

I left this comment on the Taibbi page with your interview. Posting here for The Body:

I ran as a Green in 2020 in Cook County (Chicago) and received the 3rd most votes of any Green candidate nationwide, behind the presidential candidate Hawkins and a statewide candidate in Michigan, despite the usual media blackout.

It was my understanding that Jesse “announced” too late to appear on many ballots and Hawkins wouldn’t step aside. That said, I don’t doubt that there was some spin and half truths too (and maybe even some bad actors planted by the Dems).

If Jesse wants to run in 2024, I’ll support him doing voter analytics like I did for the Democrats in 2014… especially if Taibbi is the “speechwriter”. But he needs to join the party and declare in 1H of 2023 to make it happen.
